One of my current projects is an underground railroad quilt. Most of the blocks will come from a swap. I am wanting to incorporate butterflies into the quilt, I think they are a perfect symbol of change and freedom. I have kept my eye out for a butterfly fabric to use as sashing and I have found the perfect one. Not a frilly butterfly fabric, old and woodsy feel, neutral colors and a linear print.
