My in-laws live there - if you love the outdoors - its a wonderful place to live. It is expensive - mostly because of shipping costs - some areas are only accessible by boat or plane - due to the increased expense - most people do make more money - also once you become a resident - you get oil dividends - that can be $ 1000 +/- dollars each year for every member of your family.
