Funny story though: I didn't quilt much a year ago when I first posted this thread and didn't have a need of a good supplier for fabric or batting. Fast Forward 10 months and now I do. Who did I set up with? The company who put that batting out. I gave the rep an "earful" for the false labeling and for the company ignoring emails. He knows I'll never buy or encourage anyone I know to buy that batting because of their false labeling. It also shrinks something fierce even if you pre-shrink it.

I bet you don't have enough of the "perfect storm" factors going. I truly think it has to be more than one thing that does it.

  • Non-TurnTable
  • High Wattage Microwave
  • Dirty Microwave
  • Dirty Bag
  • Greasy Bag
  • Starchy Bag
  • Too long in the Microwave
  • Some other factor?

Some combination of more than one of those I think.
