Yes, I've wondered about that, too. But I have done this before with short seams and so far my machine is not complaining! Thanks Shy.

I thing to consider my Viking does not mind a few back stitches..but it does mind many more..as I was told by the dealer..most all home machines are made to feed the material front to back..of course I had to try it..Many broken threads later I gave up.
