Prices on the machines vary by the vintage also. The first ones out will be more expensive than the more recent ones. Do some research to find info on what you are thinking of buying. There are several good sites that explain the differences and what to look for. You will pay more for one that includes the original box, manual and needles. There are fakes out there also, so be careful. I have several of these that I have collected over the years - I had one as a child with a motor in a case that I made small items on, so had to replace that one and the collection began.
