Default the quilt that shrunk 10"

the back story, I bought 118" wide backing fabric, washed it and it was 108" I never thought to measure it first I just could not believe that it shrunk that much so I bought more, measured it, sure enough it was really 118". So I layered my 108" top with it on the frame, after quilting it measured 105" which was appropriate, I just took it out of the wash and the quilt measures 98". It's just normally crinkled for cotton batting, nothing excessive so all's well that ends well! OH yeah, when I evened up one end I cut it about 5" wide, soaked and spun it, when it dried I ironed it and it was 108". So here's the spread, my husband wanted it big enough to hide all the stuff I store under his bed!
