OMG, this is so funny! I've been away from the board for awhile, so I'm just seeing this....I asked for a new tomato pincushion for Christmas, because mine was starting to fall apart. I knew I had lost a couple needles in the old cushion, so after I transferred my pins to the new one, I cut the old pincushion open. I found 22 needles! One was a tapestry needle! I was shocked, but now I see I'm not the only member of the lost-my-needles-in-my-pincushion club! I expected to find 5 or 6, but never 22! I own several needle cases (kind of like pill bottles for needles); so I guess I should start using one.
