I make scrap quilts. I don't save all of them. I have lots of large yardage pieces and cut some to go with the scraps. With scrappy quilts you don't have to worry about trying to match with other colors. Some older pieces don't go with the new colors. So I will use most of the large yardage pieces for backings and cut up to make more scrappies.
