I've been seeing ads for a Janome Artistic Edge cutting machine, and I wondered if anyone uses one, and how the Simplecut software works with non-Janome machines. The ad says there are numerous edge stitches for use with applique shapes cut with the Artistic Edge. I guess you can transfer edge stitches to your computerized sewing machine that will automatically stitch the edge of your applique? Just wondering how that works, and if the Simplecut software is the type where they just give you limited options unless you purchase more expensive software to use with it.

I also wonder how they use the Artistic Edge machine to make the dandelion pillow in their ad--the parts look so small.

So does anyone out there use this machine for quiltmaking, and if so,how do you like it and what are you making with it?
