Very cute idea indeed. Can also use an old larger picture frame . Have someone cut a piece of board to fit and mount inside the frame and put the nails in for you if your not handy with mens tools. I'd hunt around at 2nd hand stores for one. Presently all my spools are in a box but this is definitely worth looking into.
