I used Pellon fusible fleece but the bag is so big, it does stand up but is a bit flopping, it may be the leather handles. I did just use the starch and that seem to help a bit. I still may try a stiffer spray. I love your bag. The pictures you put on the fabric are awesome!
Thank you. Actually the fabric was from my stash...who knows when or where I found it. The bag was a gift and the recipient was over the moon with it.
On a large bag I would probably suggest two layers of the fusible fleece. One on the outer bag and one on the lining. I have a pattern for a large bag and that is what it calls for.
