I have a love-hate relationship with paper piecing because although it is precise I hate pulling the paper out!! I have found that careful measurements gives great results. The other way to avoid that nasty part of paper piecing is to use the Cynthia England method -you can see the technique at this site:

Cynthia copies the pattern onto freezer paper with no seam allowance, presses the paper to the right side of the fabric and carefully cuts the seam allowance on the fabric only, then sews the seams - leaving the paper free and reusable if you make many of the same pieces. This method takes a bit of getting used to but works quite well!
Those blocks are far from the easiest tlambing!! You made them well - congratulations
SewnSo - wow two of them!!! I've been dragging my feet (one was in a boot for 8wks after I broke it!) but I hope to get back into the swing of sewing again which I haven't done except for repairs in well over three months
I do apologize for not getting on here more often - a leader I am certainly not this time around!! Please PM me if you need help with anything!!
