I am still fascinated with this quilt. After looking at both the Shimmering Triangles and the Batik Blur, I realized they are definitely 2 different patterns. They make similar quilts but the triangles are different in the quilts. The Batik Bur is actually a combo of the Corn & Beans block alternating with a solid to get the effect. The Shimmering Triangles are HST's alternating with big focus blocks. Very similar, but at the same time very different. I am drawn to the Batik Blur, even though it will be slightly more complicated to design the color placements.
