It's so ironic..I have a thousand quilts I want to make on my bucket list, but I can't decide what I should make for my 1st GD's big girl bed! Her parents haven't decided yet if they are buying a full or a twin. They like pastels and bright pastels and no themes/characters (ie disney, frozen Ect). I'd like it to be special (of course lol) but not overly difficult and definitly durable. I have a thousand ideas, but nothing that seems to be IT. I would love any ideas! Ask your GD what her favorite colors are. Ask her what her favorite flowers are. Ask her what her favorite books are. You can always use a pattern such as Warm Wishes for larger pieces of fabric. Maybe let kiddo pick out a layer cake pack.
