Like you I am too sensitive to odors. I got a coat that was infused with fabreze and I couldn't wear it or get the smell out. My sister suggested unscented spray and wash liquid added to wash and I tried it with shout free and it helped. I couldn't find spray and wash but I can wear the coat now. Might be worth a try.
