Can you use corduroy as a backing?
Can corduroy be used as a backing? I have a friend who is planning on doing that, on her first quilt which is a Hawaiian quilt. She hasn't asked my advice and sort of resented advice I gave her earlier...so I thought I would ask before I suggested she not do that. She lives on the east coast and I am in Texas, so I haven't seen either her quilt top or her backing fabric.
So, has anyone used corduroy?
