I really like this quilt pattern. My DD and DSIL are cat lovers, and have several. Unfortunately, they lost three of their older ones this past year, and fostered two kittens that came to them very sick (unknown to them at the time) and lost them also. I made this quilt for them for Christmas, and on the label, I put "In memory of all the kitties you have loved and lost" They loved the quilt, and want to use it for a wall hanging. It just seemed fitting for them at this time.
