There are public records and enough memories from OSMGs who remember the hubbub surrounding Jolson. He was caught one too many times trying to pass off his Nelco machines for Necchis. Necchi sued him and took the distributor rights from him, he didn't withdraw. You'll still find Nelco machines today with a Necchi sticker on them. I've deflated more than one persons' balloon by telling them that sticker does not make a Nelco machine a Necchi.
