Girlfriend

Hi,

The last time I was renting time on the long arm, the owner was saying how she prefers polyester thread to quilt with, because it's a sturdier thread and will hold up longer over time.

This made me wonder whether I should be using polyester thread when hand sewing the back to the binding on. I've always used the same thread that I have pieced with - cotton Aurifil.

I certainly want the binding to stay on for years to come. What do you use?
