Where do you live? Sounds like the situation I found in Ann Arbor MI. Huge guild that meets every other month(400 members). Small "bees" but hard to join. Luckily I met a couple of women from this board that invited me to join them in their home. I travel 30 mins to get there, but the fellowship and laughs are worth it. Disappointed that there wasn't a smaller quild closer like the one I belonged to in TX before moving to MI. When you said icy roads--I thought maybe you are in MI!
