I am just finishing up my second quilt (for kids) and thought I'd double check the directions. Yep, I made a goof too. My binding (backing folded around to the front) is 1 inch, instead of 1/4-1/2. And I did the same thing on the first one! I can recut and repin this one...does it really make a big difference? To me the 1 inch width balances the quilt better. But maybe there is a reason for a narrow binding. Help, please! (by the way, thank you all so much for all the inspiration and advice. I love this board!!)
By the way, this quilt measures 38X44.
