Should we lock our sewing rooms?
I was at a weekend workshop and received a text from my son that he had a deer for our larder. I was happy for him as it was his second deer in his hunting experience.
When I arrived home, I unloaded my quilt supplies and went to my ironing station to continue a project I was working on. To my amazement the table was missing. I didn't recall moving it or taking it down, so I asked family members if they had seen the table.
"It's in the garage," my son answered, "We used it to butcher the deer."
I must say he did a nice job of keeping it clean and cleaning it up when he delivered it back to where it belonged.
