I'm not sure there's such a thing as "too many machines". It's like the glass half full/half empty thing...rather than think I have "too many machines, I like to think I just have "not enough room"!
I'll second that. My house and sheds are just too small. Optimizing space for collecting / using sewing machines would be a useful topic, especially treadles and cabinets.
