When I wrote the poem, I forgot about my Nechie (spelling) Lydia 3. My granddaughters use it now, so I haven't had it here for a while. I had a brand new Kenmore too, in 1985, but I gave it to my daughter. She lost it! She was living in an apartment at that time and I think she had other things on her mind and forgot about it when she moved out. Never saw it again.
As for room, I'd have plenty if I threw out my renter upstairs. But she is a starving artist, and I am her surrogate mother, so she will stay.
