Looks like a straightforward pattern with either a 6" square block next to a 9-patch block made from 2 1/2" strips with a 4" wide border; or a 9" square block next to a 9-patch block made from 3 1/2" strips with a 5-6" border. The tricky part will be fabric placement in the 9-patch blocks to line up with the solid square blocks as you assemble the quilt. Cute quilt, thanks for posting it.
