Help in replacing take up spring in a 1901 Model 27 Singer
Hi,
I have been having fun with this old one. But-----
How do I remove the old spring?
Do I just unscrew the stud bolt? Is it a lefty loosen thread?
This machine is very dirty. The old oil is all solid varnish so hard to see.
Any help you can give would be appreciated.
I did take a picture and will post it soon.
