Hon, you need to add a 1/2" to each piece...across the width and the length. If it measures on paper as 1" X 4" you would cut it 1 1/2" X 4 1/2" :D:D:D
I like the idea of making a few more small pieces...and making a matching wall hanging :D:D:D
