I tried not to reply to this but I have a condition called "separation anxiety". Not a real medical diagnosis but after I put so much money out for fabric then put so much of myself in labor into a project if I don't have a person in mind I just can't let things go. I have an 8' closet shelf full of quilted pcs. I have numerous table toppers,runners etc on pant hangers hanging. I'm talking Spicy Spirals, New Orleans Puzzle ( called Spinning Stars in certain areas), and what I consider special patterns
I feel pathetic. I don't know how so many of you can donate so much. Just don't know what I'm going to do with all of it.
I have the same condition. I am glad to know that there are at least two of us.
And, you know, don't worry. You can always donate anything in your stack later. That's what I tell myself....or if I had any family members who liked quilts, that might be an option too..but I don't. Family members, yes,...who like quilts, no. But I like them, and for the moment, that is enough.
