I think we all are there to some extent, I especially like your comment Tartan and had to laugh to myself. I too go through the house once a week, but not to necessarily clean- just take a look at what needs to be done and talk to myself about doing these things, and think oh well I will tackle this later. I kept a cleaner house working full time and taking care of our kids. Both are adults now and I'm retired, and have really gotten to be lazy, but I'm enjoying retirement and my quilting, much better than I enjoy keeping a spotless house. I just tell myself and others, this house work will still be here after I'm gone ad someone else can do it then, but I won't be able to quilt anymore, so just continue to do my favorite thing-quilt!
