My son stumbled on the store in Las Vegas. Later he took me back so I could see.
It is the All Saints clothing store in the Cosmopolitan hotel. The front of the store has all this glass walls with sewing machines drilled and bolted through their beds and mounted onto poles. I took a bunch of pictures. Then on the back wall or the street side, which is second story, so you can't actually see them from the street, they are all hand cranks that are on shelves and they do turn. Yes, I just had to try a few out. I took pictures of them too. Several of the display stands for the clothing were some sort of machines and they related to textile or garment making. There was a huge machine about 4 feet long with a presser foot about 2 inches wide, must have been for sail making.

As an aside note, a pair of jeans that was in the way of my view of the hand cranks, was priced at $160.00.

I did ask a clerk about where they got them and he said they would go to factories and buy up old machines and that there were in excess of 1000 machines in the store.
Any one going to Vegas or lives there it is a very neat store to see. Breathtaking as to the sheer numbers of beautiful machines.
