no - I read it on the internet - it must be true so I tried it - it isn't fool proof but it does extend the life of some of the brushes... the cheap Chinese brushes are even worse - cheap and no good and you better be wearing body armor and a face shield helmet... Oh and out doors where you don't ever go barefoot.
