Anything that is bigger than 2", I make crumb fabric and made fabric. Bonnie Hunter has crumb ideas and Victoria Finlay Wolfe has made fabric quilts on her blog and her book, 15 minutes of Play, is all about it. I leave a basket of scraps on my treadle, and when I have a few minutes between things, I treadle some scraps. I use Bottom Line thread to piece these so there is not thread buildup on such small pieces. Or find a quilter like me who uses scraps.
