Wow, that is an interesting problem. I have an older Bernina and use mostly Mettler Silk wrapped thread with no problem unless I start using Sulky metallic on top. Hey Jan, next time you visit Mexico, I am just a 30 mile north of the border !! Weather is great, will be in the 80s this week.
