Can't say for sure...have one, haven't used it. The quick rundown is cut bias strips to piece in pairs...then place ruler on strip set by lining up diagonal line on BiRangle over seam line of strip set...rotary cut around 2 sides and rotate ruler to cut around remaining 2 sides. So like squaring up a hst. There is a slight offset...if you have a set of TriRecs look at the skinny one of the two rulers...it could do the same thing, I think. Haven't used either, truthfully, but wish I had before I made so many blocks that would have worked better with either one...it's that little offset/tipclip that makes it so much easier to keep it true. If there's a method that gets me to the right size, I'll use whichever one is the easiest to attain accuracy...if it means another ruler, well, it might be worth it to avoid the aggravation/frustration of frog stitchin'.
