And so I began. A year ago. The first time I put the rows together it came out tumbler shaped - fully two inches wider on the bottom than the top. I let it rest. I stewed, I contemplated. I took it apart months later and tried again. Close but no cigar. I couldn't work on anything! I was so frustrated.
Eventually, I missed quilting so much that I had to develop my mantra - if at first you don't succeed - try, try again. And I was determined to finish it. I did! I did! 20" (nearly) square.
It is just beautiful never give up, I tried the stand up rose in crocheting and it took me 20 tries to get it right. but I did it.
