Have never used a meatloaf pan. I just form it into a shape like loaf of bread/football. I use the leanest of beef but also add 1/2 lb. of ground sausage. Little seasoning since the sausage already is seasoned. Make a ditch down the center and add chopped pre-cooked (drained on paper towel ofcourse). Great meatloaf. May have to get a pan depending on cost.
