My gran did the same for me, I had my own box in her sewing room closet and she would add to it periodically - I was always so excited to find new fabric in MY box! Endless possibilities...although mostly I just made little pillows, LOL.

I'm glad I'm not the only one!! My DH thinks I'm crazy for salvaging dog food bags, but the ones we used to get were made out of woven Kevlar - talk about bulletproof! LOL (Now we get a different brand that's just thick plastic, I don't save those.)
