What is an OBW pattern?
OBW -One Block Wonder is taking fabric that has a 24" repeat, cutting the fabric into 6 - 24" pieces making sure that the pattern of the fabric matches on all sides. You have to use a lot of pins for this. Then cut 4" strips. You will cut six layers at a time using an equilateral triangle. Then you take those six triangles & lay them out & turn them until you get the design you like. There is a book that I have called One-Block Wonders by Maxine Rosenthal. You can also search on youtube for one block wonder & find many helpful videos. The best thing is to ask here, these ladies really know what they are doing, unlike me.
