Default My Reversible Celtic Solstice Quilted on my DSM - picture heavy

One year+ after Bonnie Hunter released this mystery quilt I finally have it completed. It's quite large, maybe larger than a king.

I am one for reversible quilts so I took my orphan misshaped blocks, trimmed them, rearranged them into something else, and sewed blocks for the backing. I had lots of strips left over (went a little crazy when cutting) and smaller pieces of fabric that I made into 2" and 2.5" blocks then sewed them into larger blocks.

The back is a little too orange for my taste, however, it will be refreshing to flip it over and see something different, LOL!

I found a delightful striped fabric for the border. It's cut on the bias for diagonal stripes.

It's hard to see the quilting. I did feathers in the white border, curls and twists in the neutrals of the blocks, and some loops in the blues in one of the borders. All the quilting done on my Baby Lock Crescendo.

Thanks for looking and happy quilting!
