Mom, when I do hand quilting which is all the time. I do rows, quicker and easier, I put my setting strips in between and quilt a row at a time, or 2 rows at a time. goes together quickly, then quilt it and then sew them tog, trim the batting and then stitch them together. I do rows now used to do blocks, just seems easier that way for me.
