Baby Girl Turtle Quilt
I just finished this quilt for a wonderful lady (she was my physical therapist when I broke both my ankles and my foot) who is going to have her first baby girl (she has 2 boys) in May. It was fun to make because the colors are bright and cheerful, and the machine embroidered turtles are so cute.
I also included a close up of one of the turtle blocks.
And a close up of one of the blocks that I used my embroidery machine to quilt. The rest of the quilt was quilted with stitch in the ditch.
The embroidered turtles are from Bee Unique Embroidery Designs - Turtles at Play. She also has frogs and ducks that I am going to try next. They are so cute!
I copied the quilt pattern from one a very nice lady made in our sewing group. She did hers in pretty pastels and it was beautiful. I think I will try pastels in my next one.
