My pattern calls for me to use freezer paper on my pieces and to fold a 1/4" of fabric over the paper and then use basting stitches to hold it down. later it asks me to come back and whipstitch over the same area before removing my basting stitches. I am finding it difficult to remove my basting stitches after whipstitching over it. any suggestions?
