Did you hear that thump? Yep, that was me. My girlfriend came over to bind a quilt, but when she got here she said 'lets go to Mary Maxim's'. Although they are known for their yarns, they have a pretty nice fabric department and usually have a large selection of markdowns, 40-60% off. I wanted to make a quilt for my cousin's daughter. Her house has red & teal accents which I have in my stash, but I needed a print to pull it together. Found the print. Also found 4 batiks in the markdowns, a yard of each came home with me. I did make it 6 whole weeks, this shopping trip was totally unplanned... I guess I hang out with people who lead me astray.
