to answer your question on row quilts look in member swaps. There have been several row robins where you each do a block and add it on and send it to the next. the trouble with those it seems is some go really smoothly and all are sent back. others go into mystery zones and well stay there. This swap is different as we are each sewing our own rows for our own quilts. upside is you get it all the way you want. not some good some bad its all your call
I am not stating that the other way is not fun. just saying that .. it is all yours. no mailing costs and any failure to complete a project is totally your call. somehow that feels good to me.
