The standard foot that looks like 2 prongs of a pitchfork. If you sew with your fabric lined up on the right side, you'll get a scant 1/4. The foot with the "lever" on the right side gives a 1/4 inch but it is not scant. It's a wide quarter. But remember thread makes a difference also, I use Sulky. Some of the better threads are thinner and may produce a different result.
