Default Inspired by Tartan....

and the photo of her crayon quilt, I decided to make one, too, from my scraps. It has some errors: the points are not sharp enough and I unintentionally eliminated the little ledge where the point meets the body. Also the backing is not entirely straight, try as I might to make it so. The crayon fabric itself was a trifle crooked, I think.

But all in all, I'm happy enough with it. It measures about 40x55, baby or toddler size. It was fun to make, and as Tartan said in her post, it went together quickly.

I have a good friend who enables my quiltmaking hobby, periodically sending me magazines and other quilting books, and this little quilt may go to her, as a gift to one of her husband's grandchildren (she has no children of her own) or to her niece who has a new baby. (If I decide it's good enough to send.)
