My 11 year old step daughter and I just made these with yellow cake mix and 1/2 sprinkles and 1/2 pink sugar and they taste just like the pink and white frosted animal crackers. Except they don't have the weird waxy coating.
She has never had one of those cookies because she has a nut allergy so it was awesome to get to share them with her. Now she doesn't feel like she is missing out so much!
