Hi Everyone. Thanks for your kind words - I went to Arbor Day Foundation and had 50 trees planted in her honor. My DH and I are in the wood business - and she was our Customs Broker/friend all these years - so the trees seemed an appropriate memorial. Waiting for the certificate so i can send it to her family.
Got my cast off this week - so am able to do a little more. Have a splint on and not supposed to over-work my thumb - but at least i can sew a little easier. Hopefully i'll get my March place mats done on time !!
Thanks to all y'all up north who are sending the cold weather our way tomorrow.
News is calling for sleet and freezing rain....so we will see. Last ice storm we got 3 1/2 inches of ice and were house bound for almost 4 days.
Better go check the pantry and make sure we are stocked up on good stuff just in case.
