anniehug, believe it or not but that's really a courthouse steps block laid out like a log cabin. When I had them up on my design wall, I found I had a couple of the blocks turned the wrong way. Guess it wouldn't really matter as it still looked the same, just the seams were in the wrong location.
Think I have the layout figured out.....................what do you all think of it now? I think this is as good as I can get filling in the dead spaces. Now to quilt it. Have yet to put the blocks together as I've been playing around with how I'm going to quilt it. Nothing like leading the horse to the water bucket before I even have it filled.
