I made "split decision" for one of my brothers in masculine fabrics. I made a version of rail fence, but the fabrics were scrappy so there was not a real path to the fence. I've also done rectangle in a rectangle. I made a triple irish chain, a Bonnie Hunter String X and a hunters star -- all for men. To me I try to keep the piecing simple and the fabric masculine.
